Welcome back to my
On this site you can follow my progress daily as I play
events on Race to Dubai EuropeanTour and the Challenge
the joy of winning last summer's Scottish Challenge I
was disappointed not to win a Main Tour card for 2018
through the Road to Oman rankings and Q School.
However I did get two starts on the main tour schedule early in December
and finished inside the top 35 in the Joburg and
after travelling recently to play in the Super 6 event
in Perth and then onto the Oman Open I had another long
flight to South Africa.
I missed the cut at the Main Tour's Tshwane Open and
could not play in the Barclays Kenya Open after
suffering a very painful tooth problem.
week I am starting a run of four tournaments by playing
at the Izki Club in Spain's Basque Region and the
improvement in my putting over the first two rounds of
the Spanish Challenge has been very promising.
very pleased to shoot a third round 70 and there was no
cause for concern as I closed the tournament with a
level par 72.
However at the Rocco Forte Sicilian Open
I missed the cut and have now moved onto Antwerp for the
Belgium Knockout and have been plesed with the way I
fought back after a poor start to my first round and
made the cut after shooting a second straight level par
71 and won the first two stages of the matchplay rounds.
After failing to qualify for the US Open and
missing the cut at the new Shot Clock Masters I was
hoping to turn my form around this week at the BMW
International in Germany.
Although conditions for the first
round were really tough I did make the cut with a
second round 68 but then struggled with my driver on the
third day. However I finished the week in style by
shooting a 67.
